Who We Are
We are a broad collective of media and health professionals who are dedicated to working with people of all abilities and ages in a variety of I Made This projects. We approach this not as teachers, but as facilitators who work alongside people to develop new skills, creative ideas and media formats. The ideas and inspiration for the work comes from the people themselves, with the facilitators using their expertise to introduce new skills and techniques in order to realise and support individual creative visions.Trustees:
Dr. Sara Bluffield - Chair - Clinical Psychologist working at Learning Disability - Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (LD-CAMHS) in Norfolk and Suffolk Foundation NHS Trust (NSFT).Rose Davidson - Secretary - works as a Social Worker for Suffolk County Council and has worked as a drama facilitator / workshop leader in both Kenya and Hong Kong. She has also worked as special education needs facilitator for the Spare Tyre theatre company and as an assistant teacher / lecturer, with SEN responsibility, for the applied theatre arts company - London. She has a B.A. degree in drama, applied theatre and education from the central school of speech and drama London, UK. She has an M.A. in Human Rights from the University of Essex.
Jude Cowgill - Treasurer - has worked in both the media and the public sector. In TV as a production manager and producer, and has run her own business. She has also worked in the caring professions both as a nurse, as an administrator for the NHS and as a residential social worker.
Yvonne Sandison - A qualified and long serving, experienced teacher who has served periods as both assistant head and head teacher in several busy and challenging London schools. She now lives in Halesworth and is a trustee and volunteer, taking an active role in the weekly Adventures in Animation workshops.
Paul Fitzgerald - I Made This - Project Director. Paul has worked in the media sector for over 30 years. As a producer and director he has worked for all the major broadcasters including the BBC, ITV and Discovery Channel. For 10 years he ran an independent production company making social issue related films for BBC television. He is responsible for overseeing and facilitating all aspects of the charities work including the delivery of our Adventures in Animation sessions.
Our projects are delivered by freelance facilitators and volunteers under the supervision of the project director and the trustees.
